AVANTRAC and RELLM Engineering posted lopsided wins in the Architects and Engineers Basketball Association (AEBA) 9th Corporate Cup over the weekend at the University of San Carlos (USC) Downtown Campus Gymnasium in Cebu City.

Avantrac nailed its second win in as many starts by routing Dextructures, 90-67, with Jemcerson Sable leading the way with 29 points, two rebounds, two steals, and an assist.

Noriko Benedicto added 21 points for Avantrac, which sealed another blowout win after dumping Sports & Play last week, 71-51.

Dextructures dropped to 0-2 (win-loss) despite getting 21 points from Rozien Rivera and a double-double of 14 points and 17 rebounds from Dexter Estilloro.

RELLM Engineering, on the other hand, evened its record to 1-1 after thrashing Fenestram, 97-72.

Jepher Salazar Auguis topped RELLM with 23 points while Christopher Gayotin topped Fenestram with a game-high 33 points.

Davies Paints also climbed to 2-0 by beating EGS Surveying, 67-60.

John Therese Buhawe and Mark Anthony Bajenting powered Davies Paints by combining for 27 points.

Falling to 0-2, EGS was led by Dafydd Tallido and Zuriel Dunque, who tallied 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Not to be outdone was Sinclair, which also improved to 2-0 by tripping Sports & Play, 84-74.

Also earning a piece of the top spot was Johnro Electrical, which secured a second straight win by downing CBM Engineering, 78-67.(CCM)
