Hot-shooting Bajenting powers EZ Pavers in CABC hoops

EZ Pavers rode on the splendid all-around performance of Anthony Bajenting to rout Davies Paints, 135-93, in the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) 8th Corporate Cup over the weekend at Game Changer Gym in Mandaue City.

Bajenting came up with one of the finest performances in the league when he put up a whopping 43 points that went with 11 rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals as EZ Pavers snatched its second win in as many starts.

Bajenting missed just five of his 22 attempts from the field and knocked down four three-pointers in the 42-point onslaught.

Sokrates Nagel added 24 points and 11 rebounds, Francis Regis chipped in 19 markers, Aaron Yang tossed 16, Armund Claro donated 12 and Keith Pinero had 10 points in the win that saw EZ Pavers lead by as many as 49 points.

Ian Chris Alcazar scored 18 points while Jeffrey Basalo added 16 for Davies Paints, which stayed winless after two games.

In other games, Landlite (1-1) took down SR & T Industrial Supply (1-1), 98-91, Modern Windows (2-0) nipped Peralta Design Services (0-2), 78-66, Boysen Paints (2-0) clobbered Corrchem (0-2), 76-62.(CCM)
