Man dies in Tabuelan motorcycle collission
A 40-YEAR-OLD man died when two motorcycles collided in Barangay Poblacion, Tabuelan town, northern Cebu on Tuesday morning, March 3.
Cliff Richard Dabon Trazo was declared dead-on-arrival when he was brought to the Tuburan District Hospital, police said.
Trazo’s backrider, Kevin Balazuela, 35, and the driver of the other motorcycle, Vincent Gequilan, 29, were injured in the incident.
Police said Trazo and Balazuela were on their way to work when the incident happened at 7:15 a.m.
According to the police, Trazo tried to overtake another vehicle while maneuvering on a blind curve but ended up colliding with an oncoming motorcycle.
The riders were thrown off the motorcycles with Trazo suffering severe head injuries.
Police said Gequilan may face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, physical Injury and damage to property.(CDB)
