Promoter: ‘Fist of Fury 10’ tickets selling fast
TICKETS for the “Fist of Fury 10: The Eliminator” are selling like hotcakes.
Promoter Lorenzo “Chao” Sy announced this as he urged boxing patrons to start purchasing tickets for the May 9 boxing extravaganza at the Cebu Coliseum.
“We are running short of tickets because there are some who bought in bulk. So we are advising boxing fans to buy their tickets early,” said Sy.
Sy said the card has drawn a lot of attention as the main event will pit Cebuano Ian Paul Abne and China’s Dianxing Zhu.
Some of the ticket reservations from a group of Chinese fans, who will be flying in to show support for Zhu.
The Abne-Zhu duel is for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) minimumweight world title eliminator. The winner will earn a shot at IBF world minimumweight champion Pedro Taduran.
It was announced that Taduran will be at ringside when Abne and Zhu clash in the critical fight.
Eight undercards will spice up the card, including two title fights.
Jimuel Aranas of the Chao Sy Boxing Stable and Jeric Noynay of the Martinez Boxing Stable will fight for the World Boxing Federation Silver flyweight title while John Paul Gabunilas will go up against Ramil Roda Jr. for the Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title.
Sy said boxing fans need not to spend a lot to witness action-packed fights.
Ticket prices are pegged at P100 for general admission, P300 for upper box, P500 for lower box, and P1,000 for ringside.
To buy tickets, Sy said interested parties may contact mobile number 0991-997452.(CCM)
