Rowdy neighbor nabbed in Labangon
A MAN accused of repeatedly causing trouble in the neighborhood was arrested in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City on Wednesday morning, March 25.
Police acted on complaints that Roger Layan Repronio, 48, had been threatening neighbors at gunpoint.
The man was also accused of indiscriminate firing.
Based on the complaints, the Labangon police, led by Maj. Marvin Fegarido, applied for a search warrant.
Repronio’s house was eventually raided when a search warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Anacleto Debalucos of Regional Trial Court Branch 17 in Cebu City.
During the implementation of the search warrant, a .38 revolver with two bullets was seized from the man’s house.
Police said Repronio will be charged for violating Republic Act No. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.(CDB)
